Peer Review Process
After a manuscript is submitted, it undergoes an initial review by the editorial team. This review examines formatting, figures, tables, citations, reference lists, and the overall structure of the article. A plagiarism check is conducted using Turnitin.
Editors will determine whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope and whether it is suitable for peer review. In some cases, authors may be asked to revise their manuscript prior to review. The initial review typically takes one week. Submissions that pass this stage are assigned to reviewers. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make an editorial decision.
There are five possible editorial decisions:
(1) Accept
(2) Accept with minor revisions
(3) Revise and resubmit
(4) Recommend submission to another journal
(5) Reject
All reviews are conducted under a confidential double-blind peer-review system and managed through OJS. The review process takes approximately 4–8 weeks. Reviewers may request additional rounds of revision. Final acceptance or rejection is determined by the Managing Editor based on reviewers’ recommendations.
