Welcome to Jurnal Puitika. Authors are kindly requested to read the following guidelines carefully before submitting their manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision prior to the review process.
Scope of the Journal
Puitika accepts original research articles within the fields of linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies, including interdisciplinary studies related to these areas.
Manuscript Requirements
Submitted manuscripts must meet the journal’s writing standards. The length of the article should range from 4,000 to 6,000 words, excluding the abstract and references.
Articles may be written in either English or Indonesian. For articles written in Indonesian, the abstract must be provided in English.
Article Template
Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts using the journal template.
Citation and Referencing Style
Puitika applies the APA referencing style (7th edition). Authors are expected to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all citations and references.
Structure of the Article
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title
- Author Name(s)
- Author Affiliation(s)
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results/Findings
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Declaration of Conflict of Interest
- Acknowledgements
- AI Usage Statement (if applicable)
- References

All notifications regarding the editorial and review process will be sent to the email address provided by the corresponding author during registration and submission.
Publication Fee
Puitika does not charge any article processing charge (APC) or publication fee for accepted manuscripts.
Originality and Academic Integrity
Puitika only accepts manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by another journal at the time of submission.
Puitika upholds the principles of academic honesty and integrity. Therefore, only original manuscripts free from plagiarism will be processed for publication.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools must be clearly declared within the manuscript body before the references section. Authors should specify the AI tool(s) used, how the tool(s) were used, and the purpose of their use in the research and writing process.
Review Process
Puitika does not provide or accommodate any form of fast-track review service.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a blind review process. The review process generally takes approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on the number of manuscripts currently under review.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors whose articles have been published in Puitika are encouraged to disseminate their work through institutional repositories, academic platforms, and professional networks.
